Reverse Osmosis

Reverse Osmosis is designed to filter out almost all minerals and contaminants found in your drinking water. A semipermeable membrane removes contaminants such as lead and other harmful chemicals from the water making this type of system is more effective at removing contaminants and more affordable.
Another benefit of the Reverse Osmosis system is that it can filter out extremely small components in water because municipal water supplies have a many other imperfections or chemicals in them, including chemicals that are added to treat the water. You can remove these with a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system. Imperfections include sodium, iron, mercury, lead, nickel, chloride and fluoride. AFluoride, for instance, is usually reduced by over 90% by the process of elimination.
Ion Exchange
Ion Exchange are water softeners, designed to remove magnesium and calcium in the water with positively charged ions that attract calcium and other minerals that are not good for your health.
Activated Carbon
One of the most common water filters in homes is Activated Carbon. With this type of system, the activated carbon granules are used for attracting and trapping harmful chemicals with this system. These systems can vary widely as some only remove mercury. lead and asbestos and others only remove inorganic pollutants.
These filtration system can be installed for your entire house, or simply as point-of-use systems, installed directly with your kitchen sink.
